The latest news as of 01/17/2007
Lancaster city hopes to bring the Rocky Springs Carousel to Lancaster Square accross from Binn's Park in the 100 Block of Queen Street according to Mr. Randy Patterson, a city employee.
We are looking for sponcers for the restoration of the remaining animals, along with the restoration the sponcers will be recognized by naming the animals they sponcer by using name plates or by some other means to recognize the sponcers. If interested in finding out more of the cost involved in sponcership contact our Teasurer Mr. Todd Harrington: tharrington@troutcpa.com or our fundraising advisor Mrs.Joan Henderson: joanhenderson@earthlink.net for details.
Newly restored animals are returning in Dec. or Jan.
The carousel project has slowed down a bit with the holidays upon us. Animal restoration is on going and we are to have 4-6 animals coming back maybe in Feb.if weather holds out. Hopefully more Lancastrians will get on the bandwagon and embrace this project which will benefit all our citizens no matter if they are young or young at heart.
